Where the adjustable Surefix Rise & Fall Gutter Bracket is specified, strength is delivered through a reinforced threaded fixing designed for high shear performance. Load is transferred evenly through the fixing, resisting rotation, movement and long-term loosening.
Where the Surefix Built-In Rise & Fall Gutter Bracket is used, the same strength is achieved through controlled mechanical integration within the mortar joint. The bracket is placed onto the mortar bed and built over with the next course of brick. Mortar embedment holes allow the masonry to lock through the bracket, forming a secure mechanical bond without impact or forced fixing.
In both cases, strength is engineered, not improvised.

The 70mm elongated adjustment slot allows precise positioning without altering the bracket’s structure or disturbing the masonry. Fine adjustment happens within the slot, not in the wall. The bracket retains its original shape, strength and holding performance, even after final alignment.
Impact-driven fixing damages masonry at the point it matters most. Hammering into brickwork creates microfractures that may not be visible on day one, but the freeze–thaw cycle will find them. Over time, joints weaken, fixings loosen and failure becomes inevitable. Surefix avoids this entirely.
